On November 17, 2024, surrounded by friends and family, Lyleth and Craig married, beginning a new chapter not only in their personal lives but in their shared business journey. Love It Events became a symbol of their love story—a place where dreams came true for others, just as they had found their own.
Our Story
Lyleth Bustillo was born and raised in the vibrant city of Iloilo in the Philippines, where the warmth of her family and community shaped her dreams. From a young age, Lyleth always felt drawn to helping others. Inspired by the dedicated nurses who worked in her local hospital, she decided to pursue a career in nursing. Despite the challenges that came with studying in a country where resources were limited, Lyleth was determined. She excelled in her studies, often staying late into the night, pouring over textbooks and asking questions that helped her understand the human body and the art of care.

Her hard work paid off when she earned her nursing degree, but Lyleth wasn’t satisfied with just achieving her dreams. She set her sights on something greater: earning her doctorate in nursing in the United States. With persistence and faith, Lyleth moved to the U.S., where she attended a prestigious university. She faced cultural challenges, but her innate resilience kept her moving forward. Through her passion for nursing and her dedication to education, Lyleth earned her doctorate, becoming a leader in her field.
During her time in the U.S., fate led her to Craig Bailey, a Senior Data Center Architect who grew up in Michigan. Craig, a man with a deep passion for technology and helping others, had always valued collaboration and growth. He and Lyleth met by chance at a networking event, where their shared values—of ambition, service, and dedication—sparked an instant connection. Craig admired Lyleth’s drive, while she appreciated his creative vision for the future.

Together, they realized that they both wanted to do something more than just their professional work. Inspired by their shared love of events, helping others, and creating memorable experiences, they decided to open a wedding and event venue company—Love It Events—in early 2024. Their vision was simple: to help couples and families create unforgettable memories, while providing a place where love and joy could flourish.
Lyleth and Craig’s journey was a testament to the power of perseverance, love, and the desire to make a difference. From Iloilo City to Michigan and beyond, their story showed that with dedication, the most beautiful things can be built—not just in business, but in life.
